Perth Poker League runs tournament poker in 'seasons', 4-month long periods where a small amount from every buy-in is held over and accumulated into the prize pool for an end-of-season event called a "Grand Final". There are 3 different Grand Finals available to participate in, Dealer Dealt, Player Dealt, and Semi-Pro. Each Grand Final has a set of qualification requirements for players to meet. To check your qualification status for any Grand Final event please message us on Facebook or come see us at your next game. You can also check your qualfication status by subscibing to our monthly newsletter using the form at the end of the page.

Dealer Dealt Grand Final Seasons
As the name suggests, these seasons relate to the tournaments where a dealer is provided for play. Entry fees for these tournaments range from $70 to $130, and the Grand Final tournament itself is usually around $120. Qualification for the Dealer Dealt Grand Final can be achieved by making 6 or more entries or re-entries into any of the below listed tournaments over the 4 month season. Please note that the Monday night tournament at Morley Eagles Baseball Club is not a qualifying tournament.

Dealer Dealt Season Games:
Tuesday, $100 tournament at Belmont Sports and Recreation Club.
Wednesday, $70 tournament at Sorrento Football Club.
Thursday, $130 tournament at Mt Lawley Bowling Club.
Friday, $130 tournament at The Macedonian Cultural Centre.
Saturday, $100 tournament at The Firkin Pub.

Dealer Dealt Season Dates:
March to June, Grand Final usually held July.
July to October, Grand Final usually held November.
November to February, Grand Final usually held March.

Player Dealt Grand Final Seasons
These seasons relate to the tournaments where players take turns dealing. The entry fee for these tournaments is $55, and the Grand Final tournament itself is usually around $80. Qualification for the Player Dealt Grand Final can be achieved by making 6 or more entries or re-entries into any of the below listed tournaments over the 4 month season. 

The funds held over from these tournaments are split between the Grand Final and the Battle of the Champions. The Battle of the Champions tournament is a free-roll ($0 entry fee) tournament for the winners of any Player Dealt Grand Final Season tournament, and is held around the same time as the Player Dealt Grand Final.

Tuesday, $55 tournament at Belmont Sports and Recreation Club.
Wednesday, $55 tournament at Swan Italian Sporting Club.
Thursday, $55 tournament at Mt Lawley Bowling Club.
Friday, $55 tournament at The Macedonian Cultural Centre.
Saturday, $55 tournament at TopDog in Town, located at the Wanneroo Markets.
Sunday, $55 tournament at Balga Cricket Club.

Player Dealt Season Dates:
January to April, Grand Final events usually held May.
May to August, Grand Final events usually held September.
September to December, Grand Final events usually held January.

Semi-Pro Grand Final Seasons
These seasons relate to the very low buy-in tournaments where players take turns dealing. The entry fee for these tournaments is $10, and the Grand Final tournament itself is usually around $50. Qualification for the Semi-Pro Grand Final can be achieved by making 2 or more entries or re-entries into the below listed tournament over the 4 month season.

Semi-Pro Season Game:
Wednesday, $10 tournament at Swan Italian Sporting Club.

Semi-Pro Season Dates:
January to April, Grand Final events usually held May.
May to August, Grand Final events usually held September.
September to December, Grand Final events usually held January.
